It allows users to receive mobile notifications when someone presses the doorbell or triggers the motion sensors. Setup is easy through the Ring app, and with a Ring Protect Plan (subscription sold separately), users can record all videos, review footage for up to 180 days, and share videos and photos. The doorbell can be paired with select Alexa-enabled devices for announcements and two-way talk, and with a Ring Protect plan, Alexa can make voice announcements and show live video feed on compatible devices when the doorbell detects a person or package.
